Melissa “Mo” Gritzmaker serves as the Market Manager for the Sioux City Farmers Market. As the founder of Sit Pretty Barkery and a Sioux City Farmers Market vendor, Mo brings firsthand experience, entrepreneurial insight, and a deep passion for the Siouxland community to the role.

Since joining the Sioux City Farmers Market as a vendor in 2022, Mo has become well known for her energy, community involvement, and commitment to supporting local small businesses. Through her work as a business owner, she understands the challenges and opportunities that local vendors face and is passionate about helping create an environment where vendors, visitors, and community partners can thrive together.

As Market Manager, Mo helps oversee day-to-day market operations, vendor communication, special events, and the overall visitor experience throughout the season. Her leadership focuses on supporting local food systems, strengthening vendor success, enhancing customer experiences, and continuing to grow the Sioux City Farmers Market as one of Siouxland’s premier community destinations.
