The Sioux City Farmers Market exists to strengthen connections between people, local food, small businesses, and community throughout Siouxland. What began as a simple way to create greater access to local growers and producers has grown into one of Siouxland’s largest and most recognized community gathering spaces and regional destinations.

Each week during market season, thousands of visitors come downtown to shop directly from the people who grow, raise, bake, create, and produce what they sell. From fresh-picked produce to baked goods, flowers, handcrafted items, prepared foods, coffee, live music, and small-batch products, the Sioux City Farmers Market reflects the creativity, entrepreneurship, and agricultural roots of the Siouxland region.

Everything sold at the Sioux City Farmers Market is grown, raised, baked, prepared, or handcrafted by the vendor. That direct connection creates transparency, trust, and a more personal experience for visitors while helping support local families, farms, makers, and small businesses.

The Sioux City Farmers Market is operated by Buy Fresh Buy Local - Siouxland, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting local food systems, small businesses, agriculture, and community development. The organization is guided by a volunteer board composed of vendors, community members, patrons, and advocates who strongly believe in the importance of local agriculture, entrepreneurship, and downtown vibrancy.

Location & Hours

The Sioux City Farmers Market takes place in the Tyson Events Center Suite Parking Lot, north of TriView Avenue at the corner of TriView Avenue and Pearl Street in downtown Sioux City.

The Sioux City Farmers Market is open every Wednesday and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, beginning the first Saturday in May through the last Saturday in October.
